A digital companion from Agape Care Doulas.

For the partner showing up, without taking over.

The Partner Rescue Playbook is a quiet, immediately-usable companion for the partner in the first six weeks postpartum. A calm operating system for the moments you most want to be useful, and aren’t sure how.

You don’t have to fix it.

You don’t have to perform.

You have to be steady. The rest is built.

Why the partner’s job is harder than anyone says.

No one writes this part down.

Every postpartum book speaks to her. Every birth class trains both of you for the birth. Almost nothing is written for what happens after. For the partner, in their own language, at their own height.

The advice contradicts itself.

Twelve open tabs at 4 PM. Forums say opposite things. The Playbook gives you one calm voice, and one next thing to try.

Doing more isn’t doing better.

Rushing in to fix is often the thing that lands wrong. The Playbook teaches the difference between supporting and rescuing, and why one of them works.

The room around the baby is the hard part.

Recovery on the couch. Visitors at the door. A text from your mother. The 4 AM where she’s crying and you don’t know why. This is the part the Playbook is built for.

The Partner Rescue Playbook is not a course.

It’s a calm hand in your pocket.

A mobile-first companion you open with one hand at 4 PM on day five, designed for the moments you actually need it, by a doula who has been in those rooms.

Not a curriculum. A companion.

Not a checklist. A next thing to try.

Not advice. A calm voice, and a clear line for when something is medical.

Built for the partner. Designed in the language of a doula.

What’s inside.

Eight considered modules. No bloat. No homework.

Each module is designed to be useful in under 90 seconds, in the room you’re actually standing in. Read one. Try one thing. Come back when you need the next.

01 · COMPANION

Quick Start: I Don’t Know What To Do

The front door of the Playbook. Tap what’s happening, get the next thing to try.

02 · FOUNDATION

The First 72 Hours

Hospital-to-home, first night, first day alone. A soft scaffold for the most disorienting window.

03 · ARCHITECTURE

Night Shifts & Handoff Systems

Three shift methods that let both of you sleep. Plus a printable Handover Sheet that ends the wake-up arguments.

04 · PRESENCE

Holding Without Fixing

The Three Layers Card. When to listen. When to speak. Why “let me solve that for you” lands wrong on day five.

05 · CARE

Practical Care Without Taking Over

Twelve quiet acts that actually land. And the anti-list. What most partners do that doesn’t help.

06 · LANGUAGE

Scripts & Repair Lines

Twenty-four sentences for the moments words run out. Use them as-is. They were written to be used.

07 · BOUNDARIES

The Visitor Protocol

Pre-birth conversation. Day-of door scripts. Eight text templates. A visitor filter that holds the door without starting a family war.

08 · ANCHOR

The Partner’s Own Reset

The 90-Second Reset. The Morning Anchor Routine. Signs you’re burning out, and exactly when to call someone in.

Meet Mandy

The partner’s job is the second hardest job in the room. It deserves to be written for.

Built on years of postpartum care for new-parent families across Toronto and the GTA. Written for the partner who wants to show up, without taking over.

From the partners who have used it.

What lands, lands.

I read the Holding Without Fixing module on day three and finally understood what she had been asking me for. It was like being given a translation.
David K., Toronto
The visitor scripts saved my marriage in week two. I’m not exaggerating. I sent one of them word-for-word and the whole house got quiet.
Andrew & Lia M., Mississauga
I bought it for my brother before his daughter was born. He told me it was the only baby gift he actually opened, and the only one he actually used.

Answers to what families ask before buying.

Quiet questions, plainly answered.

Is this a parenting course?

No. The Playbook is not a course or a curriculum. It’s a non-prescriptive companion for the first six weeks. Designed to give you one next thing to try, in the moment.

Is the Playbook gender-specific?

No. It’s partner-specific. Any gender, any family structure, any route to parenthood: biological, surrogate, adoptive. The modules apply.

When in postpartum is this most useful?

Day one through week six is the design window. It’s most powerful if you have it before the baby arrives, but most of our buyers are already in week one or two, and it works.

Do I need to install anything?

No. After purchase, you’ll be taken straight to the Playbook on your phone. Save it to your home screen, that’s it. Designed to work offline once installed.

Does it work alongside the Night Rescue Kit?

Yes. They’re built as siblings. The Night Rescue Kit is for nights. The Partner Rescue Playbook is for the partner’s full first six weeks. Many families buy both.

Is this medical advice?

No. The Playbook is non-medical, educational, and supportive. It’s built by a certified postpartum doula and is designed to work alongside your healthcare team, not in place of them. There’s a clear When To Pause card inside.

Can I gift it?

Yes. Choose the Couples Edition at checkout for a personalised printable gift card. Print it, hand it over, or forward the link when the moment is right.

What is your refund policy?

All sales are final. The Partner Rescue Playbook is a digital product delivered immediately upon purchase. If you experience a technical issue accessing the Playbook, please write to us within 14 days and we’ll work with you to resolve it.

I’m in Toronto / the GTA. Can I also book in-home care?

Yes. The Playbook is one path. In-home overnight care, daytime support, virtual consultations, and customised packages are all available. Please get in touch to talk through what your family needs.

Agape Care Doulas provides non-medical postpartum support. We are not nurses, midwives, or healthcare providers. The Partner Rescue Playbook is educational and supportive in nature. It is designed to work alongside your medical team, not in place of them.

For all medical concerns, yours, your partner’s, or your baby’s, please contact your healthcare provider, your local public health line, or 911.

The next six weeks are going to happen either way.

Let them happen with a calm hand on your shoulder.
