At Agape Care Doulas, we believe every family deserves a calm, reliable presence that sees you — not just a checklist. We show up with warmth, without judgement, and with one purpose: to make this transition as beautiful and supported as it was always meant to be.

About Agape Care Doulas

Postpartum care rooted in love, built on trust.

Agape Care Doulas was founded on a simple but radical belief: that every family deserves to feel genuinely supported in the weeks after birth — not just managed, not just checked on, but truly held.

We provide non-medical postpartum support to families across Toronto and Ontario. Our care is practical, emotional, and always personal. We show up for the night feeds and the hard mornings. We make space for rest when rest feels impossible. We offer a calm, steady presence during one of life’s most significant transitions.

The name Agape — meaning unconditional, selfless love — is not incidental. It is the foundation of every visit, every conversation, and every decision we make as a team.

Rest

We protect your sleep fiercely — because a rested parent is the greatest gift you can give your baby.

Recovery

Physical and emotional healing takes time. We create the conditions for your whole self to restore.

Bonding

Everything we do creates more space for you and your baby to find each other, gently and without rush.

Confidence

You leave every visit more grounded, more informed, and more sure of yourself as a parent.

This work is my calling,
not just my career.

Certified Postpartum Doula & Founder of Agape Care

I came to this work through my own experience of the fourth trimester — a time that was more overwhelming and more beautiful than I had ever imagined. What I needed most was not medical advice or a schedule. I needed someone calm, capable, and completely present.

That experience changed the direction of my life. I trained as a postpartum doula because I knew there were thousands of families in Toronto and across Ontario who needed exactly what I had needed — and so often couldn’t find it.

I believe the postpartum period is one of the most significant transitions a human being will ever move through. It deserves to be treated with extraordinary care.

At Agape Care Doulas, everything is built around the belief that rest, recovery, and genuine connection are not luxuries — they are necessities. My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and always led by what your family truly needs.

I would be honoured to support your family through this time.

With love & care

Family Stories

Words from the
families we’ve held.

Having our doula arrive on those first overnight shifts felt like someone lifting a weight I didn’t even know I was carrying. I slept. Really slept. And everything looked different in the morning.

Sarah M. First-time mother · Toronto

What I noticed most was that our doula never made me feel judged. She supported our choices, answered every single question, and was just... there. Warm, steady, real. Exactly what we needed.

James & Priya K. Parents of twins · North York

We used the virtual support package from outside the city, and it was incredible. We felt seen, guided, and supported from day one. Do not try to go it alone.

Olivia R. Mother of two · Hamilton, Ontario

We hired Agape Care for our second baby and it was completely transformational. I was able to be present for my older child because I knew our newborn was in loving, expert hands.

Questions & Answers

Everything you
might be wondering.

A postpartum doula provides non-medical emotional, practical, and informational support to families after the birth of a baby. This includes newborn care and soothing, feeding support, light household tasks, sibling integration, and being a calm, knowledgeable presence for new parents navigating an enormous life transition.
We recommend booking during your third trimester to ensure availability. That said, we always try to accommodate last-minute requests. Whether you’re 32 weeks pregnant or two days postpartum — reach out, and we will do our best to support you.
Absolutely, and without any reservation. We support breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, combination feeding, pumping, and formula. Our approach is entirely non-judgmental. We are here to support your choices, not to impose our own.
A night nurse typically focuses solely on the baby. A nanny is a longer-term childcare provider. A postpartum doula supports the entire family — including the parents’ emotional wellbeing, feeding journey, recovery, and confidence. We hold the family as a whole.
We are based in Toronto and offer in-home care across the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding Ontario communities. Our virtual support packages are available to families anywhere in Ontario.
Overnight visits are typically 8–10 hours (usually 10pm–7am). Daytime visits are generally 4–8 hours, though we tailor everything to your family’s schedule. We are flexible — because your life doesn’t fit into a rigid template.
Coverage varies by provider and plan. Some extended health benefit plans include postpartum doula support. We are happy to provide documentation to support insurance claims. Check directly with your provider for your specific coverage.

You deserve to rest.
Let us take it from here.

Your first weeks as a family are precious. We are here to make them feel exactly the way they should — supported, peaceful, and full of wonder.
